William Marshall Neilson, Jr.
83, of Frostburg, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Frostburg Nursing Care Center.
Born June 24, 1931 to William Marshall Neilson and Sara (Wellings) Neilson. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pearl Drew, and a brother, Clarence Neilson
Marshall was the owner and operator of Neilson Contracting Company, a member of the First English Baptist Church in Frostburg, Cumberland Elks Lodge #63, and the Cumberland Eagles Arie #245, and the Queen City Region Antique Automobile Club of America.
Surviving are his two sons, Rick Neilson and wife Ann, Midlothian, and Craig Neilson and Sharri Frenzel, Frostburg; daughter, Gail L. Kemp and husband Fred, Shinglehouse, PA; grandchildren, Rob Neilson, Jake Neilson and fiancé Kayla Tennant, Josh Neilson, Sadie Kemp, Brent Walker and wife Sarah, Brooke Neilson and fiancé Jonathan Preston, Dylan Neilson, Ora Kemp and wife LeaAnn, Banner Elk, NC.; one great grandson, Carter Neilson; a sister Thelma Drew, Short Gap, WV; and two brothers, William Irvin Neilson, Baltimore and Charles Allen Neilson, Frostburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marshall was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the First English Baptist Church, 136 East Main Street, Frostburg, MD 21532.
