William Birch Livingston Jr.

William Birch Livingston Jr., 81, of Boonsboro, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 11, 2024. 

Born March 4, 1943, in Frostburg, to the late Emily (Wampler) King and William Livingston Sr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his step mother, Ruth (Hahn) Livingston, brothers, Joe P. Livingston and Dwight Godlove as well as two siblings that passed at birth; and his father and mother in law, Lucas and Rita Stolp.

Mr. Livingston was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Iron worker. He was a member of the Iron works local 5, Washington D.C., Farrady Post 24 American Legion, Mountain Lodge #99 A.F. & A.M.. He was a Jack-of-all trades, helping his family build home editions and woodworking in his spare time.

Surviving are his wife, Maria J. (Stolp) Livingston; seven children, William B. Livingston III, Wendy Gail Filipovic, Gregory Allen Livingston, Alicia Rae Hoffman, Nichole R. Ray, Krystal Michelle Livingston, Tiffany Francis Livingston; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren with one on the way; Two great great grandchildren with two more on the way; four siblings, Christina Baker, Evelyn Stemple, Harry Godlove and Cheryl Twigg; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 12 noon to 1 pm.

A graveside service will follow at Frostburg Memorial Park at 1pm with Rev. Shane Wilt officiating.

Memorial service will be held at, West End Baptist Chapel, 59 Winter St, Hagerstown, MD 21740, on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
