William Benjamin Vail

William “Willy” Benjamin Vail, 58, born on Nov. 22nd 1964, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8th, 2023. Willy resided and was under the care of Ray of Hope located in Cumberland, MD. Willy was predeceased by his parents William Jerald “Jerry” and

Shirley Eileen Nally Vail. In 1958, Jerry married Shirley Lease Workman who predeceased him in 2005. Willy is survived by his three siblings, Kathryn Emily Vail of Penticton, British Columbia, Canada, Elizabeth Rachel Vail and her wife Kym Love of Knoxville, TN and George Ulrich Vail and his wife Lisa Grant Vail, and their two children Haven and Jordan Vail of Roswell, GA.

 

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff at the Ray of Hope for their years of care and professional services.

 

Willy will be cremated at Durst Funeral Home with no public service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations to be made to the non-profit Ray of Hope www.rayofhope-md.org.
