Willaim Hollar

William R. Hollar, CPA

72, of Bluffton, SC and Frostburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SC.

Born September 4, 1941 in McKeesport, PA to Eugene Hollar and Ruth (Schoeller) Hollar. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Daryle J. McCarthy Hollar.

Bill graduated from Duquesne High School, Duquesne, PA; Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in Accounting. He worked for Pittsburgh Schools, Ivy Tech
(Muncie, IN), Allegany Community College and retired from Frostburg State University, Frostburg, MD.

Bill was a C.P.A., member of Aliquippa Masonic Lodge, Cumberland Scottish Rite, Ali Ghan Shrine, Ali Ghan Shrine Motor Corp, Frostburg Elks, Frostburg Moose and Frostburg Farrady Post 24 American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving 3 years and 1 day.

He is survived by his wife Betty J. (Robertson) Hollar, his niece, Leslie Chrapliwy and husband William, nephew, David Schalk and wife Donalyn, sister-in-law and husband, Martha and Francis (Spotty) Kiser, sister-in-law, Carol Robertson,  brother-in-law and wife , Dale and Jeanette Robertson and brother-in-law, Richard Stuller. Nieces and nephews, Tiffany L. Kiser, Daniel A. Robertson, Christina B. Kiser, and Bryan C. Robertson. Great nieces and nephews; Ashton May Schalk, Alexander J. Chrapliwy, Shannon Ruth Schalk, Dayne C. Robertson and Maren Louise Kiser Parnell; and lifetime friend, Norman Koehler.
