Viola M. Winter
92, of Cresaptown, passed away at her residence on June 21, 2015.
Born on June 17, 1923 in Eckhart, to the late Daniel and Rose (Boor) Faulkner. In addition to his parents she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur E. Winter; sister, Elenora Nicholas; brother, Markwood Faulkner.
Viola worked at Park Theater in Cresaptown, Gehauf’s Restaurant and Warner’s Restaurant. She was also a life member of Cresaptown Volunteer Fireman’s Auxiliary and a member of Cresaptown Methodist Church. In her past time she liked sitting on the porch and loved to dance. Viola’s motto was Live, Laugh, Love.
Surviving are four daughters, Ginger Etta Winter, Cheryl Rice, Ricky Kirby and husband Joseph, Kista Schroeder and husband Thomas; eight grandchildren, Julie Dicken and husband Chuck, Edie Buser, Rory Winter and wife Cyndi, Tanya Rice, Barbara Bittner and husband Jason, Lindsay Condrey and husband Scott, Tenley Sewell and husband Ken, Kara White and husband Jeffery; twelve great-grandchildren, Randy Snyder, Jerrica Hamilton and husband PJ, Danielle Schaefer and fiancé James Sweeney, Ashley Winter, Rachel Rase, Taylor Sewell, Cory Winter, Mekenzie Sewell, Kylee Condrey, Abby Bittner, Clara White, and Alex White; brother, Elwood Faulkner; brother-in-law, Louis Winter, Harold and Mary Winter; four step great grandchildren, Kaleb White, Brandon White, Richele Hamilton, Jazzlyn Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank WMHS Hospice and 3 day care providers, Helen, Tina, and Kim for all their loving care.
Pallbearers are Thomas Schroeder, Joseph Kirby, Rory Winter, Chuck Dicken, Ken Sewell, and Scott Condrey.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
