Thomas Patrick Winner passed away on the morning of April 4, 2025, at Sterling Care Frostburg Village.
Born August 1, 1942, to the late Isabel D. Landis and Manuel T. Winner. Preceded in death by brother, Benjamin L. Winner and survived by his wife of 60 years, Paulette "Susie" Winner and son Benjamin T. Winner.
Tommy filled his life with cars, great friends, and close relatives. He had many fond memories of his close friends and Mack trucks at Winner Brother's Coal Company. A job he had for nearly 20 years. Yet his real passion was his own business, Winner's Used Cars, which he operated with Susie. They worked hard with the help of many friends to buy, repair, and sell vehicles to hundreds of customers for nearly 44 years. Tommy retired from the business in 2015. After he continued to work on cars every chance he could get. His stories, jokes, and laughter will carry on in the memories of everyone he met. Tommy never met a stranger and was always there when anyone needed a helping hand.
Per his wishes there will be no services or viewing.
In lieu of flowers, consider supporting local animal shelters. Tommy loved dogs and had many over the years. He is now at peace and with all the dogs he loved over the years. We will see them all again on the rainbow bridge.
Words of comfort may be sent to the family following the obituary at www.durstfuneralhome.com.
