Susanna Spriggs
76, of Frostburg (formerly of Mt. Savage), died Friday, December 9, 2016 at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born June 23, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Susanna (Winebrenner) Trimble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Spriggs, two sisters, Helen Preston and Carol J. Trimble and one brother, Daniel F. Trimble.
Susanna was a member of the Mt. Savage United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Bittinger and husband Brian; two grandchildren, Logan and Keirstin Bittinger. She is also survived by her sister, Goldie Spiker of LaVale, MD and Naomi Anderson and husband Jerry of Florida and one brother, Earl Trimble and wife Nancy of Mt. Savage; and numerous nieces and nephew.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, MD on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 5 pm.
Interment will be in Mt. Savage United Methodist Cemetery.
