Susan Mickey

Susan A Mickey, 85, of Milford OH, formerly of Cumberland MD, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 11, 2024

She was born on February 23, 1939 in Frostburg, MD. Mrs Mickey was the daughter of the late William S. Wiebrecht and Edith (Staup) Wiebrecht.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Mickey of Milford OH and her only brother James Wiebrecht of Frostburg MD.

She graduated from Beall High School in 1957 and was a beautician/hairdresser all her life and owned her salon the Beauty Nook, Frostburg, MD. She loved to dance, paint & crafts and enjoyed playing cards.

Surviving are her daughter Jimmie Sue Huey and husband Ralph Huey of Milford OH; grandson Joshua Eberly and wife Rachel Eberly of Madison Township, OH; great grandchildren Kayla and Keegan Eberly of Madison Township, OH; her brothers wife Eleanor Wiebrecht; nieces Carolyn Bond and husband Bill Bond and Sharon Meadors as well as many other nieces and nephews from the area.

Family and Friends will be recieved at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 1pm to 3 pm.

A funeral service will follow visitation at 3 pm with Chris Skidmore speaking.

There will be no graveside service.
