Sandra Bishields

Sandra Jean Bishields, 81, of Frostburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Sterling Care Frostburg Village.

Born July 23, 1942, she was the daughter of the late David T. Ogilvie and Mary E. (Hager) Ogilvie. Mrs. Bishields is predeceased by her parents; siblings, Red, Ken, Bob, Bill, and Gary Ogilvie, Ginny White and Louise Loar. She was the last living member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Bishields was a graduate of Allegany High School and was employed as a waitress at Howard Johnsons restaurant and Bob's Big Boy. She enjoyed playing bingo and Christmas was her favorite time of the year. Sandra loved shopping for her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband of 44 years; George Michael Bishields Jr., he is the son of George and Ruth Bishields, her children; Craig Lohnas and wife Stacey of Berlin, MD, Mary Jane Fischer and husband Scott of Warner Robins, GA, and John Lohnas and wife Laurie of Frostburg, MD. Grandchildren; Christy Purnell, Cobin Lohnas, Colton Lohnas, Byron Beauchamp, Mckenzie Peterson, Brook Beauchamp, Amber Fischer, Jade Bradshaw, Garrett Fischer, Canyon Lohnas, and Tanner Lohnas; Great Grandchildren, Carter Lohnas, Brody Purnell, and Paisley Beauchamp.

She was cremated in accordance with her wishes. Services will be private.
