Sandra Atkinson-Jones

Sandra K. Atkinson-Jones , lost her short courageous battle with cancer on November 20, 2021.

Born on May 25, 1959 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Ronald L. Atkinson and Shirley J. Blank.

When Sandra was 15 years old she met William “Bill” Jones who went on to be the love of her life.  They married on April 29, 1984 and spent a total of 47 years together.  They shared a love of traveling and traveled within the United States, Iceland and England.  Sandra was a Quality Control Supervisor at Miami Polishing, Piqua, Ohio.

She is also survived by her brother, Russell Atkinson wife Lisa and nephew, Nathan, Eloy, Arizona; sister, Cathy Roque, Frostburg, MD; two nieces, Bridget Bomar-Roque, Glen Burnie, MD, Jennifer Roque, Philadelphia, PA, and nephew, Dr. Remy Roque, Seattle, WA; two great nephews, Cameron Privette and Landen Atkinson.

Sandra also leaves behind her beloved dog, Ziggy.

Sandra’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
