Robert William Whitehead
63, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Born, January 11, 1951, in Frostburg to Donald Lee Whitehead and Doris Lee Atkinson. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Tony Ceppaluni and a nephew, Jessie Ceppaluni.
Robert was retired from the carpenter’s local of Cumberland and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving for six years in Viet Nam. He was the last remaining member of the round table of the Out Back Lounge. He was loved very much and will be missed by his daughter and will be forever in the hearts of his family.
Surviving are one daughter; Justine Meadors, Cumberland; two sisters, Terry Ceppaluni, Frostburg, Lynn Kyle and husband Tim, Barton; niece, Tessa Ceppaluni; nephew, Sturgis Kyle and wife Sarah, York PA.
He was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
