Robert Thompson

Robert (Casey) Lee Thompson born December 14, 1945. He was raised since birth by his grandparents, Casey and Helen Thompson in Frostburg, Maryland. His grandparents and father, Robert Casey Thompson, preceded Robert in death.

Robert was a 1963 graduate of Beall High School. He went to Baltimore at age eighteen to find work and worked in several different occupations. In 1972, Robert moved back to Frostburg, Maryland. Shortly thereafter, he went to work for Bernard Foods Industries in Evanston, Illinois. Robert worked there for twenty years and was awarded Bernard Food Salesman of the year five times in that period.

Robert then opened Potomac Valley Industrial Supply Inc. in Clarysville, Maryland. He owned that business for nineteen years. He also owned Casey's Ice Company, Thompson Catering Service and Jim's Sales and Service. In 2008, he sold his businesses and retired.

He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. The last years of his life were brightened by his relationship with Vivian Snowberger, their friends and the love and help of the Robert Sines family, Bob, Marsha, Chad, Andy and Erin.

In accordance with Robert's wishes, he will be cremated.
