Robert "Bob" Paul Mannick, 84, of Frostburg, passed away Sunday, Jan 1, 2023 after a strong battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Paul Mannick and Laura (Cullen) Shockey. Robert was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He graduated from Beall High School, attended Frostburg State College and began his long standing career in Baltimore as a butcher. Once moving back to the area, he worked at various grocery stores but most recently at Save A Lot in Frostburg.
Bob enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting, fishing from his boat and playing baseball with his grandkids. He treasured the time he spent talking with the many friends he has.
Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Kay (Lancaster); daughter, Tessie (Rowe) Dodrill and husband Scott; three grandchildren, Robert, John and Katie Dodrill; nephew, Robert Thompson; great nephews, Ryan Mannick and wife Shannon, Eric Mannick and wife Amanda, Dylan Mannick, Seth Mannick and Matthew Mannick; great nieces Crystal (Mannick) McGovern and husband Todd, and Jenna Mannick. He also leaves behind a special pup named Katie (in honor of his granddaughter).
A Celebration of Life and burial will be held at a later date.
