Robert “Bob” D. Lashley
76, of Fairhope, Pa, formerly of Mt. Savage went to be with the lord on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospice, Callaway, Md.
Born August 3, 1938 in Mt. Savage to the late Robert J. and Elva J. (Baker) Lashley.
Mr. Lashley was retired from the Maryland State Police in 1983; a member of Kemp Lodge #154 AF & AM Mt. Savage, 32nd degree KCCH Cumberland Consistory, and the Mason Dixon Lions Club. He was an Army Veteran and served with the Marine Reserves.
Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Annette (Weimer) Lashley; son, Kevin Lashley and wife Kimber (Homan) Lashley, Drayden, MD, and stepson Mark Weimer Barry, Mt. Savage; grandchildren, Alex Lashley and Lance Lashley; sister, Kay Ryan and husband Richard, Eckhart; brother, Richard Lashley and wife Sandy, Bowling Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Masonic Service will be held at 8:00 pm by Kemp Lodge #154 AF & AM.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10 am with Father Doug Kenney officiating.
Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Mt. Savage.
Military honors will be accorded by Old Rail Post 6025 Honor Guard, Mt. Savage.
