Richard Willetts

Richard Matthew Willetts

69, passed away on October 6, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Frostburg, February 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Clementine Willetts Brain and Blaine Albert Willetts.

Rick was a graduate of Beall High School and also attended Frostburg State University. He loved tennis, was a certified weight trainer, and held a Black Belt in Karate.  He worked with his father at Willetts Travel, Inc. until the company was dissolved in 1978. Suffering at length from bi-polar illness, he is at last free of this incidious disease.

Rick is survived by brother, John Blaine Willetts, who works in the GED program at the Community College of Baltimore County and sister, Sandra Marie Willetts, Professor Emerita of The University of Alabama, now residing in Florida; and many cousins.

Richard was cremated in accordance with his wishes.

Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
