Richard Brodbeck

Richard Lee ”Herb”  Brodbeck, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 02, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born on September 28, 1956, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Betty Lou (Hyde) Brodbeck.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James R. "Pirate" Morgan.

Following graduation with the Beall High School Class of 1974, he served in the U.S. Army.  After his discharge from the military, he was employed by Johnson Controls as a cable installer.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to cook.

Surviving are his sisters, Carol Cespedes and husband Mike and Anna Connor and husband Bob; brother, Jeff Brodbeck and wife Lori; numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, Richard was cremated and there will be no services.
