Raymond T. Raynor Sr.
76, of Ridgeley, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at his residence after a long battle with his illness.
Born May 7, 1938 in Gilmore to the late Floyd and Naomi (Broadwater) Raynor. He is preceded in death by brothers, Harold and William Raynor; sisters, Doris Monohan, Ruth Loudermilk, and Mary Raynor.
Raymond was a U.S. Army Veteran MP serving in Korea from 56’-58’. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved being in the outdoors. He was the owner of R&R Custom Homes, and is a carpenter by trade.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys V. Raynor; two sons, Raymond T. Raynor Jr., Keith Raynor; granddaughter, Erika Raynor (Pop Pop’s Girl); brother, Charles Raynor and wife Janie; sister, Shirley Loudermilk and husband Fred; special friend, Pearl Sisk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Raynor is to be cremated following the viewing.
