Peggy R. Taylor, 97, of Midlothian passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Born on August 17, 1925, in Frostburg to William H. Atkinson and Viola (Merrill) Atkinson. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Stanley L. Taylor; brothers, Ray Walker, George Walker, William Atkinson and John Atkinson; sisters, Ruth Winfield, Maude Schell, Doris Whitehead and grandchildren, Tonya Vescori and Dean Rhodes; son-in-laws, Bill Baer and David Baker.
Peggy was employed as a Final Inspector for Berkowitz and Flushing Garment Factory. Also, a proud garment workers union member.
Peggy could take a little bit of nothing and turn it into a whole lot of something wonderful. She loved her Home and working on her flower garden located on Blan Avon Hollow were she resided for 75 years.
Surviving are her children, Sondra Baer, Diana Baker, Ruth Ellen Snyder and husband John, Roxann Eyraud and husband Terry, Jack Allan Taylor and wife Laura and Dawn Eisentrout and husband Rod; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Trinity Assembly of God, Old Midlothian Road SW, Midlothian, MD 21543 on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Family and friends will be received one hour prior.
The family would like to send a special thank you to UPMC Hospice nurses and staff and to their nephews Sam and Fred Walker for their love.
