Paul Cutter

March 9, 1939 — January 15, 2019

Paul E. Cutter, Jr, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of January 15, 2019, from his residence in Woodland.

Born on March 9, 1939, in Eckhart, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Anna C. (McGoye) Cutter.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jane Martin and Letha Mae Hetz; and brother, Michael F. Cutter.

He served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Karlsruhe, Germany, between 1960 and 1962. Following his discharge from the military, Paul worked at Westvaco 8 & 9 calendar room until his retirement.

After retiring, he and his wife owned and operated the Lamplighter Ceramic Shop where he poured the molds and helped with painting.

Mr. Cutter faithfully attended Midlothian’s Trinity Assembly of God church for many years.  He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years Naomi “Dimples” Cutter; son, William Cutter and wife, Kimberly, and their two sons Trevor and Matthew Cutter; their dog, Bubba, who loved him very much; sister Anna Cutter Montgomery, Gerard, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 4-7 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 18, 2019, at 11 am with Rev. Rob Culler officiating.

Interment will follow in Frostburg Memorial Park
