Patrick Donald Wilhelm

Patrick Donald Wilhelm, 73, of Frostburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Born on October 21, 1949 in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Donald C. and Elaine C. (Green) Wilhelm.

Mr. Wilhelm formerly worked as a Science teacher in Mineral County, WV as well as Allegany County, MD.  

He was a member of Divine Mercy, St. Michael's Parish Catholic Church, Frostburg and Knights of Columbus #1442, where he was a past Grand Knight from 1976 to 77.

Surviving are his nephews, Michael Paul Wilhelm II and his girlfriend Becky Lawrence and children Colton, Chase, Cayden and Carson Wilhelm, Connor Poole; Philip Scott Wilhelm and wife Julie and children Hunter and Kristian Wilhelm, Zach and Katie Sterne, Cresaptown; Steven Wayne Wilhelm and wife Jennifer and children Brooke and Breanna Wilhelm, Winchester, VA.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. K of C #1442 will be hold a service at 7:30 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Divine Mercy, St. Michael's Catholic Church on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11 am with Father Scott Kady serving as celebrant.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Knights of Columbus #1442.
