Nellie Drees

Nellie Elizabeth Drees, 90, of Frostburg, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born July 8, 1924, in Wellersburg, PA to Thomas Mull and Eva (Mankamyer) Mull.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W. Stanley Drees; a son, Gary Drees; two sisters, Hazel Often, Dorothy McKenzie, and a brother, Bob Mull; she is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Drees enjoyed Bingo and cats, especially “Molly” her adopted cat at Frostburg Nursing and Rehab. She was Catholic by faith.
Surviving are a son, Gene Drees and wife Debbie, Finzel; a daughter, Colleen Brode and husband Bobby, Finzel; former daughter in law, Shirley (Evans) Drees; five grandchildren; Travis Brode, Kama Watkins and husband Tim, Kenny Drees, Lisa Taylor and husband Chris and Karl Drees; two step grandchildren; Larry Housel Jr. and wife Jen and Jimmy Housel; seven great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
