Nancy M. Rosenberger
73, of Lonaconing, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born August 12, 1943 to Robert and Nellie (Richards) Wellings in Frostburg; she was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Earl O’Brien.
Nancy was a 1961 graduate of Beall High School and a past member and trustee of Frostburg Eagles Arie 1273. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Harold L. Rosenberger; daughter, Kathy J. Metz and husband Will, Lonaconing; two sons, Keith R. Rosenberger and wife Stephanie, Carlos, and Harold Rosenberger Jr. and wife Beth, Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Lisa Knoske, Norfolk, Va., Timothy Metz and wife Crystal, Keyser, Daniel Rosenberger, Norfolk, Va., Nathan Rosenberger, Frostburg, Andrew Metz and fiancé Elizabeth Shuck, Lonaconing, Courtney Ziler, Cumberland and Kyle Rosenberger, Carlos; great granddaughter, Gracelinn Metz. Also surviving are sisters, Judy Shertzer and husband, Jim, Frostburg and Kathy Weimer and husband Rick, Cresaptown; brothers, Robert Wellings, Frostburg, and Jerry Wellings and wife Chris, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, MD on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral services will be held at Durst Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 11 am with Pastor Rob Culler officiating.
Interment will be in Finzel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Metz, Andrew Metz, Nathan Rosenberger, Kyle Rosenberger, Courtney Ziler, Daniel Rosenberger and Daniel Kimble.
