Mildred Patterson

Mildred C. "Mamie" Patterson, 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Cumberland Healthcare Center.

Born on September 21, 1923, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Mansfield) Cesnick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Patterson in 1969.

Mamie retired from the Allegany County Board of Education Food Service where she last worked at Beall High School.

She was a member of the Frostburg United Methodist Church where she previously served as a Sunday school teacher.

Surviving are her daughter, Laure Clements and husband Rick, Suwanee, Georgia, and grandchildren, Rebecca Clements, A.J Clements and wife Nicole.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 1:00 at Frostburg Memorial Park with Rev. Kyle Durbin officiating.
