Michael Wilhelm

Michael Paul “Mike” Wilhelm, Sr., 62, Cresaptown, MD, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.
Born on July 16, 1952, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Donald C. and Elaine C. (Green) Wilhelm.
Mike worked for the Allegany County Public School System at the Career and Technical Center where he worked as a custodian and was a former employee of Kelly Springfield Tire and Rubber Company.
He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Frostburg, Knights of Columbus #1442, Cresaptown Eagles Aerie 2883, and the National Rifle Association. He was also active in A.F.S.C.M.E.
Mike’s hobbies included hunting and shooting at the gun range and riding motorcycles. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan and had a great love of music.
Surviving are sons, Michael Paul Wilhelm II and his longtime girlfriend Denise Perkins and children Colton, Chase, Cayden and Carson Wilhelm, Connor Poole, Kayla Perkins and Kendall Robinson, Bel Air; Philip Scott Wilhelm and fiancée Julie Sterne and children Hunter and Kristian Wilhelm, Zach and Katie Sterne, Cresaptown; Steven Wayne Wilhelm and wife Jennifer and children Brooke and Breanna Wilhelm, Winchester, VA; his brother, Patrick Donald Wilhelm, Frostburg; numerous cousins and many friends
