Mary Barclay

Mary Kathleen Barclay, 88, of Frostburg, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 08, 2014, at her residence.
Born on September 22, 1926, in Lonaconing, MD, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Veronica (Garlitz) Barclay.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by brothers; George Barclay, Robert Barclay, Garlitz Barclay and Alex Barclay; and sister, Elnora Marie Bell.
Ms. Barclay was retired from the laboratory at the Celanese Corporation and was a devoted member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Frostburg.
Surviving are three sisters, Adell McAlpine, Tennessee, Betty Piquet, LaVale, and Anna Mae Layman, Frostburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
According to Kathleen’s wishes, her body was donated to the Maryland Anatomy Board.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
