Mary Adams

Mary Frances “Francie” (Best) Adams, 90, of Mount Savage, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Born August 4, 1931, in Mount Savage to the late Florence Y. and William L. Best.

In addition to her parents Francie is preceded by her husband, Thomas G. Adams Jr. and a brother, William F. Best. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Francie was a graduate of Catherman’s Business School and a Certified Medical Assistant. She began her medical career with Dr. Fuller Whitworth. She then went on to be the office manager for Dr. Terry E. Williams until her retirement.

Surviving are her daughter, Marsha Lynn Clauson and husband Michael; grandson, William Thomas Clauson (Will) and wife Emma; sister-in-law, Betty Marie Best; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private grave side service will be held at Saint George's Episcopal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be directed to an organization of your choice in honor of Mary Frances Adams.
