Margaret Beeman

Margaret Marie Beeman, 80, of Frostburg died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.

Born September 10, 1933, in Baltimore MD, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Fisher and Alice Hurley Fisher. She is preceded in death by her husband George Lester Beeman Jr.; daughter, Alice Marie and stillborn twins; son-in-law, Robert Zalewski.

Margaret was employed at Harbor View Hospital in Baltimore as a nursing assistant, Martins in Cumberland and HRDC as a Home Care assistant and attended Georges Creek HRDC Day Care.

Surviving are two sons, Leonard B. Barnes and wife Rebecca of Frostburg and Patrick John Wilson Sr. and wife Cristine of Minnesota; daughter, Margaret May Covington-Zalewski of Mt. Savage; seven grandchildren, Steven Covington, Beth (Barnes) Muir, Patricia Wilson, Brandon Barnes, Patrick Wilson Jr., Mitch Wilson, and Felicia Wilson, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm.

Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11am with Rev. Mathhew Eichorn officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Zion United Methodist Cemetery.
