Louann Giles

62, of Frostburg, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at her residence.

Born June 8, 1958 to William “Bill” and Amelia “Honey” (Schell) Winters. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Winters and sister, Ruby Quartucci.

Louann was a 1976 Beall High School graduate, worked in food service at Frostburg State University and attended First English Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Francis R. Giles; son, William John Koppel; granddaughter, Camryn A. Koppel; sisters, Sally Hughes and husband Bill and Brenda Jones and family; brother, George Winters and wife Debbie; sister-in-law, Gerry Winters and family; brother-in-law, Tony Quartucci and family; and several nieces and nephews.

Louann was cremated in accordance with her wishes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at First English Baptist Church, Frostburg with Rev. David Sandvick officiating.
