Leslie Hitchins

Leslie Edward Hitchins, 72, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at his home.

Born on December 15, 1947, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mella (Miller) Hitchins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ronald T. Hitchins.

Leslie was a 1965 graduate of Beall High School.  He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. Following his discharge from the military, he was employed by the Maintenance Department at Frostburg State University and retired after 42 years of service.

Surviving are sons, Eddie and Brandon Hitchins; brother, Timothy Hitchins and wife Tammy, Carlos; sisters, Jeanne Herrell and husband Steve, Rawlings, Cynthia Hitchins, Carlos and Melody Fink and husband Ron, Cresaptown; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 5-7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at 11 am with Rev. George Harpold officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
