Leroy Gomer, Sr.

Leroy Clarence Gomer, Sr, 78, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 3, 1939, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mildred (Lashbaugh) Gomer.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by brothers, George Gomer and Curtis Gomer; and brother-in-law, Ray Barclay.

Mr. Gomer was a retired truck driver for Quality Supplier where his C.B. handle was Short Dog.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Kathleen (Winebrenner) Gomer; sons Leroy Gomer, Jr, and fiancé Beverly Linn, Frostburg, and William Gomer and wife Luretta, Frostburg; grandchildren, Anthony Gomer, Daniel Gomer and Destiny Gomer; 3 step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Darlene Barclay, Cresaptown; brothers, Larry Gomer and Roger Gomer and wife Ann, Frostburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and canine companions, Daisy and Tia.

Leroy was cremated in accordance with his wishes and there are no services.
