Larry Drees

Larry Joseph Drees, 75, of Meyersdale, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at his residence.

Born on July 6, 1949 to Anthony Joseph Drees and Dessie Gertrude (Rosenburger) Drees. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Larry earned his bachelor's degree working as an Environmental Specialist for the CSX Railroad. He was a DIYer who loved working with his hands. He loved being outside in his immaculate yard. Larry enjoyed bike riding on the Great Allegheny Passage.

Surviving are daughter, Lauren Drees and husband Dave Johnson and his children, daughter, Rachel Drees and son, Nathan Drees and wife Annie; grandchildren, Luke and Casey Drees.

A celebration of life will be held at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00.

Larry was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
