Justin Shriver

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our son, Justin E. Shriver, 39, on Saturday, June, 1, 2024.

He was born on June 2, 1984 in Frostburg, MD, to Walter Steven Shriver and Donna Walker Shriver.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Walter Shriver Jr., E. Virginia Shriver, William Walker, and Donald Preston.

In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his brother, Jesse Shriver (Canonsburg, PA); sister, Madison Kergan (Frostburg, MD); two nieces, Leighanna and Lairah Shriver (PA) whom he dearly loved; stepmother Sandy Shriver (Arizona); maternal grandmother, Emma Mae Walker (Lonaconing, MD); many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved his kind, gentle spirit. He had many friends he loved and and considered his brothers and sisters.

He attended school in Greenfield Indiana and graduated from Canon-McMilan High in Canonsburg, PA.

Justin always looked on the bright side of life and made everyone smile. He loved everywhere he lived and made friends wherever he went. He was greatly loved by his family and will be missed.

Justin was a kind hearted person and would do anything to help others. He suffered and succumbed to mental illness and addictions.

He was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Father C. Doug Kenny officiating.

Inturment will be at Frostburg Memorial park.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Durst funeral home.
