Joseph Thomas “Moose” Martin

59, passed away on Tuesday, March 03, 2020, at his residence due to health complications.

Born on September 14, 1960, he was the youngest child of the late John William and Ruth Evelyn (Wright) Martin, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law Dave Winebrenner and sister-in-law Sandy Stevenson Martin.

Joe was a graduate of Beall High School and drove truck for Lashley Construction, Clise Coal Company and was owner and operator of his own company, Martin Brothers Concrete.

He was a friend to everyone he met and never knew a stranger.

Surviving are siblings Nancy Winebrenner, Bernard “Butch” Martin, John W. Martin, Jr. and wife RoxAnn and James Martin and wife Melanie; nephew David William Winebrenner; and nieces Nicole R. Martin, Ashley R. Martin and Mandy Martin and husband Frank Vandameer.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 9-11 am with a Memorial Service following at 11 am with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Inurnment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations, in Joseph’s name, be made to the Western Maryland Regional Dialysis Center, 12502 Willowbrook Rd suite 250, Cumberland, MD 21502.
