John Gordon, Jr.

John F. Gordon Jr., 72, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at home with his wife, Ruth by his side.

Born July 4, 1946 in Frostburg to the late John F. and Nancy Lee (Layman) Gordon. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul E. Gordon.

John was a 1964 graduate of Beall High School; he retired from Liggett Group Inc.in the Sales Department.

Memorial services will be held at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Harold McClay officiating.

John was cremated in accordance with his wishes.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society, 1050 East Industrial Boulevard, Unit 3, Cumberland, MD 21502.
