Jeffrey McKenzie

Jeffrey Morrison McKenzie, 46, of Mt. Savage, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 with his wife and sons by his side.

Born July 7, 1967, Jeff was the last baby born at Miners Hospital before its closing.  He is preceded in death by his fishing and hunting buddies; father, Arthur McKenzie Sr.; uncles, Paul Brennaman and Morey Linn; grandfather, David Morrison Linn and step-father-in-law, Dick Myers.

Jeff graduated from Mt. Savage in 1985, he was employed at Mt. Savage Fire Brick of Mt. Savage, MD and loved to hunt, fish and watch the Indianapolis Colts with his sons.  He will be, always loved and greatly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Marilyn McGann McKenzie; sons, Jarrett and Clayton; mother, Rose Linn McKenzie, Mt. Savage; grandmother, Margaret Linn, Frostburg; sister, Maralane Cannillo and husband Don, West Newton, PA; brothers, Ricky Lee McKenzie and wife Diane, Thomas Arthur McKenzie and wife Betty, all of Mt. Savage; mother-in-law, Carol Myers, Corrigansville; father-in-law, Gerard McMann, Mt. Savage; sister-in-law, Anna McGann Dugan and husband Ron, Frostburg; brother-in-law, Brain McGann and partner Adrian Maestas, Wilton Manors, FL.  He is also survived by extended family members, nieces & nephews,   great nieces & great nephews, aunts & uncles and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Shane Diamond, James Riggleman, Jeremy McKenzie, Jamie McKenzie, Skylar McKenzie, Ryan McKenzie, Jason Raley and Tim Cernak.
