Jean Gracie

Jean Gracie, 98, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Hearth Stone Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly called Lions Center.

Born on June 16, 1922, in Boynton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Blanche (Seiler) Blough.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Gracie Jr., son Jeff W. Gracie, and grandchild, Chris Behounek.

Jean was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 500 card club and Bridge club, Maplehurst Women’s Golf Association and Women of the Elks.

Surviving are her daughters Linda Merrill and husband Rick, Diane Behounek and husband Bruce; grandchildren, Heather Ross, Jessica Gracie Griffin, Chanda Veno, Chad Merrill, Matt Behounek,; great grandchildren, Tyler, Chase and Ellie Veno, Lilly Ross, Ben and Peter Gracie Griffin, Mason and Harper Behounek.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1 P.M. with Pastor Darrell Layman officiating.

Internment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
