Janice Lynn Carter

53, of Frostburg, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born July 27, 1966 to the late Harold R. and Pauline (Barrett) Carter; she is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Carter.

Janice was a very loving and kind person giving many hugs; she always worried about everyone else. She loved helping and making crafts. Janice is leaving behind many dear friends and family that she held very close to her heart.

Surviving are a sister, Deborah Reckart and fiancé, Don Bittner; niece, Jessica Oster and husband Roy, nephew, Jason Reckart and great nephew Ian Oster.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Chris Skidmore officiating.

Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
