James "Jamie" Cutter

James “Jamie” Brian Cutter, 51, passed away on March 29, 2022 at his home.

He was Born on August 3rd, 1970.

Jamie graduated from Beall Highschool in 1988. He was a member of the 1987 Beall High State Champion wrestling team. In 1987 he finished 2nd in the state and in 1988 he finished 4th in the state. Overall, he had 75 wins and 15 losses in wrestling. Jamie went on to Shepherd University with a football scholarship where he earned All American and 2nd all time in sacks when he left.

He was an avid Steelers fan and would spend Sundays watching the game with his mom who he often said was his best friend.

Jamie didn’t have a lot, but if you needed it and he had it, he would give it to you in a minute.

Surviving are his two daughters, Alison and Christina Cutter; parents, Debbie O’Rourke and husband Mike and John Cutter and wife Kathy; brothers, John and wife Chris, Jason and wife Stacy; several nieces, nephews, stepbrothers, stepsisters, aunts, uncles and two very good friends Amber and Gladys Merritt.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 1 PM to 5 PM.

A funeral service will be held at Durst Funeral Home on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2 PM. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to services.

Following the services he will be cremated in accordance with his wishes and a private internment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, 716 Furnace Street, Cumberland, MD in Jamie’s name.
