It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of, James Shawn Miller, on February 27, 2025, at the age of 53.
Born, April 3, 1971, to Lois (Walters) Green and the late James Phillip Miller (February 23, 2025).
Shawn was owner of, Commercial Graphics & Signage, in Frostburg, with his business partner, Eric Harvey, and colleague, Mark Bittner. He was a member of Mountain Lodge A.F. & A.M. #99, with his good friend, Dave Wilhelm, Ali Ghan Shrine Club, Outlaw Pontiac Drag Series and Pro Stick Racing, and Haystack Mountain Sportsmen Club.
He always had a smile when he was on the drag strip shredding tires at Pro Stick Series events with his best friend Scott Upole, cruising in his GTO, riding his Harley, hitting the trails on his four-wheeler, or spending time with his family.
He found the time for life’s enjoyment, whether at the beach, or Deep Creek Lake with his dad’s boat or with the breakfast crew at Hobo’s restaurant. Those special moments were as simple as sitting with the companionship his pup’s, Carly and Millie, or late evenings on the porch with his wife. Shawn’s kind heart and contagious smile will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother and step-mother, Jane R. (Rizer) Miller, he is survived by his wife and pit crew chief, Kimberly Ann Miller; stepchildren, Marissa Gwynn and husband William, Demetri Cendo, Sergei Cendo, Cosimos Cendo; grandchild, Nora Gwynn; siblings. Julie Hartman and husband Daniel, William Green and wife Nikita, Cheryl A. Bielen and husband Gregg; brother in law, Mark Rowan and his wife Angela; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Shawn was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
