James Purbaugh

James Dale Purbaugh JR. (also known as Jim or Jimmy) passed away on March 30, 2022.

Born on January 28, 1967, he is the son of the late Beverly (McKenzie) and James D. Purbaugh Sr.

Jim was a graduate of Beall High School and the Career Center class of 85. He learned trade work and went on to become a certified welder and iron worker. Outside of work he was an outdoors man who loved camping, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his brother Jeff Purbaugh and wife Tonia; sister, Julia Guest and husband Mike; aunts and uncles, Regina Branson, Sally and Bob Scott, Sherry and David McKenzie, Marsha and Dick McKenzie; Lavada Purbaugh and her 2 daughters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim was cremated in accordance with his wishes.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022; 1:00 at Finzel Fire Hall.

In lieu of flowers donations can made to help offset the cost of his funeral.
