James Langley

James Major Langley, 90, formerly of Frostburg, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Cherry Hill Assisted Living in Accident, MD.
Born May 15, 1926, in Lonaconing, MD, he was the son of the late John and Jennie (Stafford) Langley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Langley; sister, Elizabeth Bradfield; and nephew, John Bradfield. He was the last remaining member of his immediate family.
James was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and was an engineer for C&P and Verizon Telephone Companies.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda (Warnick) Langley, Frostburg; son, Tom Langley and wife Denise, Frostburg; granddaughter, Tammi B. Becker and husband Jason, Frostburg; grandson, Jason Langley and Lisa Beeman, LaVale; great grandchildren, Charlie, Jayci and Corbin.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Sunday, March 19, 2017, from 2-4 pm.
A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 4 pm with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating.
Mr. Langley will be cremated in accordance with his wishes.
