Harvey Donald Weslow, 82, of Frostburg passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born on October 26, 1940 to the late Anna May (Deal) and William Elmer Weslow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, William “Freddy” Weslow and Stanley H. Weslow; sisters, Anna Marie Rankin, Laverne Bridges and Carol Gomer.
Harvey was a member of the Frostburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a devoted family man and was always there for each and every one of them. He loved people and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in their time of need. He loved Bible truths, and sharing the good news of the Kingdom which includes the wonderful promise of life on a paradise earth which we pray for in Matthew 6:9, 10 that Gods kingdom come and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years and 10 months, Helen "Kay" Weslow; daughter, Kris Miller and husband Scott; three granddaughters and six great grandchildren, all the loves of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Pryor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and workers for room 746 at UPMC for the excellent care given.
Harvey was cremated in accordance with his wishes and a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22 at the Frostburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2pm, which will also be available “by videoconferencing”.
