Frances M. Kemp , 76, of Frostburg, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the home of her sister, Helen and bother-in-law, Ralph during her visit in Roan Mountain, Tennessee.
Born on November 18, 1945, to the late Edgar and Anna (Williams) Skidmore.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her grandmother Nellie Skidmore who also helped raise her; first husband, Lee. W. Rodamen and second husband, Kenneth Kemp; sister, Leona Anna (Skidmore) Collawn, Wanda Binnix; five brothers, Harold “Sal” Skidmore, Clifton Skidmore, Frank Skidmore, Jack Skidmore and Thomas Skidmore.
Frances was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Midlothian and loved her nieces and nephews very much. She also had a love of animals especially her dog, Molly.
Surviving are her brothers, Leroy Skidmore, William Skidmore; four sisters, Helen M. Potter and husband Ralph, Margaret Green and husband Gary, Betty Bittinger and husband Delmas, Inez Kifer and husband Leo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Our beautiful sister leaves behind beautiful memories and will be in our hearts forever.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 5 to 7 P.M.
Funeral will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 11 A.M with Pastor Kristin Beeman.
Internment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
