Floyd Lincoln Winebrenner Jr. (Spoon)
86, passed away Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born October 9, 1928, in Carlos, to Floyd L. Winebrenner Sr. and Gladys (Thomas) Winebrenner. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Cutter and a brother, Freddie Winebrenner.
Mr. Winebrenner was an U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and retired from Schmidts Bakery and Price Beer Distributors. Spoon was always willing to lend a hand at Frostburg Heights and especially liked helping with the Christmas decorations.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Jennie Lee (Emmart) Winebrenner; children, Doug Winebrenner and wife Rhonda, Frostburg, Randy Winebrenner and wife Peggy, Frostburg, Lisa Seib and husband Gary, Midland and Tammy Horner, Midland; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Delores Woods, Florida, Betty Yates, National and Nettie Cameron, Carlos; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved pet, Jack.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Interment will be in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded by Farrady Post #24 American Legion Honor Guard.
