Evelyn Robertson

Evelyn Laverne Robertson, 90, of Mount Savage, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at UPMC Western MD.

Born on June 10, 1932, she was the daughter of Gerome and Alma (Williams) Brailer.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Olin "Joe" Emerson Robertson, who passed on April 25, 2020; brother, James Brailer and wife Patricia, and her daughter-in-law, Peggy Robertson.

Evelyn was a member of the Catholic Daughters at St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Savage.

Surviving are her son, James "Snake" Robertson; grandchildren, Todd Robertson and wife Trista, Misty Roberts and husband Jon, Jim Robertson and wife Jennifer, Brandy Hite; great grandchildren, Calian, Jameson, Killian, Ava, Grace and Sam. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Hotchkiss and husband Tom.

A special thank you to the caring staff at Peace Health care for all of their hard work and to her roommates, whom she loved dearly.

A Memorial Service for both, Olin and Evelyn Robertson will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Friends and family will be received from 11:00 AM  to 1:00 PM at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, with a Memorial Service following at 1:00 with Fr. Mark Officiating.

Veteran Honors for Olin Robertson will be accourted immediately following the memorial service by the Joint Base Andrews Honor Guard.

In accordance with their wishes they were both cremated and a private interment will take place at Rocky Gap Veteran Cemetery.
