Evelyn Hausrath

Evelyn Alice Hausrath, 90, of Mt. Savage, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Born on August 10, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Homer A. and Gladys M. (Machin) Black.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice Frank.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Millard E. "Gene" Hausrath, daughters; Susan D. Brady and husband Ralph, Nancy A. Hausrath and husband Christopher Llewellyn, Carol L. "Kiddle" Robison and husband James, grandchildren; Madyson "Delilah", Travis and wife Amber, Timothy, Don, Katie, great-grandchildren; Noah, Silas, sister; Ruth Norris and her children, Karen, Mary, Tom, who were especially close with her.

She was a beautician up until her children were born and made the decision to stay home and care for them. Later in life she went to work for the Board of Education until retirement.

Evelyn was a lifelong member of St. George Episcopal Church.

Family and friends will be received at St. George Episcopal Church, 12811 St. George Lane, Mt. Savage, MD 21545 on Wednesday, September 13, from 11 AM to 12 PM.

Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM with Father John Martin Officiating.

Interment will be in St. George's Episcopal Cemetery.
