Born November 17, 1947, She is the daughter of the late Mary (Willison) and Ralph E. Schurg.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her son, Mark Atkinson; and sisters, Marion Skidmore and Linda Eversole.
Evelyn was a member of Eckhart Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Booth and husband Bryan; granddaughters, Cindy McMillan and Hannah Atkinson; five great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Drew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 1 to 3 pm, Funeral services will follow at 3 pm, with Rev. George Harpold officiating.
Internment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
