Emma Jean Malloy, 89, passed away on February 10, 2022 at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.
Born on December 18, 1932 to the late Eula (Jones) and Edwin Frankenberry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence G. “Butler” Malloy; siblings, Carl Frankenberry, George Frankenberry, Robert Frankenberry and Virginia Crump and great-granddaughter, Mackenzy Gray Wilson.
Emma was a member of Our Lady of The Mountains St. Patrick’s Church, Catholic daughters, Sodality, and the Mt. Savage Fire Hall. She enjoyed playing bingo and dominos in her spare time.
Surviving are son, Dennis Malloy and significant other, Judy Wilbert; daughters, Ruth Booth and husband Rick and Carole O’Baker and husband Barry; five grandchildren, Daniel Sweitzer, Donald Sweitzer Jr., Amber Ward, Laura Wilson and Ryan Malloy; six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Chloe, Gavin, Sophia and Kennedy and sister, Ruth Lancaster.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of The Mountains St. Patrick’s Church in Mt. Savage, MD on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Friends of St. Patrick’s, 949 Seton Drive Apt. #3, Cumberland, MD 21502.
