Elisabeth “Lisa” Caton, 90, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by family members.
Born on November 30, 1926, in Nordloh, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Elizabeth (Krause) Deepe.
Lisa retired from Safeway Stores where she served as a cashier. She was a member of Local #400 AFL/CIO.
She was a member of the Frostburg Church of the Brethren where she served at a Board Member. Lisa loved to sing and was a member of September Singers, Stained Glass Bluegrass singing group in Waldorf. She and her husband, Marshall, loved to entertain, sing and perform at numerous churches and functions.
Surviving are her husband, Marshall L. Caton; one son, Shawn Taaffe, Owings; two daughters, Sheila Hall, Crofton, and Mona Williams, Charlotte Hall; step-daughter, Tammy McCloud, Savannah, GA.; two step-sons, Larry Caton, Frostburg, and Jamie Caton, Ft. Myers, FL; and twelve grandchildren.
