Doris Marie Witt, 83, passed away peacefully at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center on Thursday, December 01, 2016, surrounded by her family.
Born on May 30, 1933, in Midlothian, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Ellsworth and Helen Marie (Donald) Richards. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, LeRoy F. Witt, Sr.; daughter, Debbie Spataro; two brothers and one sister; she was the last surviving of her immediate family.
Surviving are six children, LeRoy F. Witt Jr. and wife Georgia, Cumberland, Karen S. Watkins and husband Stan, Cumberland, Derrick W. Witt and wife Carmen, Mt. Savage, Douglas A. Witt, Salinas, CA, LuAnn M. Whetston, Corriganville, Melissa J. Yutzy and husband Blaine, Frostburg; son-in-law, Steve Spataro, Mt. Savage; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doris was cremated in accordance with her wishes.
